Send us a tip
Know about a breach, an outage, or a vendor claim that doesn't hold up? Tell us. We protect sources and check everything independently before we publish.
How to reach us
Use the contact form and choose "Story tip or idea". The form is not end-to-end encrypted, so don't include anything that could identify you or harm you if it were intercepted. Instead, leave a way to reach you and ask for a secure channel; we'll set one up with you.
Press releases and non-sensitive tips can also go to editor@getcoretech.net. Regular email is not encrypted.
Protect yourself
- Use a personal phone or computer and a personal network, not your employer's.
- Don't send from a work email or chat account, and don't forward internal messages directly.
- Describe documents rather than attaching them at first; we'll agree a safe way to share them.
- Screenshots can carry hidden details (names, times, device info). Tell us what they show before sending.
What happens next
- We read every tip. We reply when we follow up, so we may not answer every one.
- We never publish your name or details that could identify you without your explicit permission.
- A tip is a lead, not a source: we confirm it independently before anything is published, following our methodology.
- We don't pay for tips, and paying us can't buy or stop a story (see our sponsorship policy).
