Affiliate policy
Last updated October 2026. What an affiliate link is on this site, how you'll know, and what it is never allowed to change.
Where we stand today
GetCoreTech is not part of any affiliate program right now, so no article earns us money when you click or buy. If that changes, the programs will be listed on this page and every article that uses them will say so.
How you'll know
An article with even one affiliate link opens with a notice, before any link: "Contains affiliate links." The same notice leads the article in our RSS and JSON feeds. We don't hide it at the bottom of the page or behind a hover.
What a commission never changes
- Which products we cover, recommend or rate, and in what order.
- Whether we say something is bad. A product with an affiliate program gets the same criticism as one without.
- Whether we mention a cheaper, free or open-source option. If it's the better choice for the reader, it comes first, even when it earns nothing.
- The price you pay. An affiliate link never costs you more.
We don't accept payment for placement in comparison or "best of" articles, and an affiliate relationship is never a reason to write about a product. Every claim still goes through the same source check as any other article (see our methodology).
Programs
None at the moment.
